The Raptors continue to shop Andrea Bargnani with the latest name being linked in return being Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova. This report from Hoopsworld also says the Bucks are looking to move Samuel Dalembert and Drew Gooden.

Word out of Utah is that the Jazz are deciding whether or not to keep Paul Millsap or Al Jefferson. They are stocked up front with the aforementioned pair as well as youngsters Derek Favors and Enes Kanter and both Jefferson and  will be eligible for free agency next summer and the Jazz will also need to save some cap space to re-sign Gordon Hayward.

 The Nets continue to be active in trade talks according to ESPN. Over the weekend it was reported that they were talking to the Charlotte Bobcats about a possible Ben Gordon-for-Kris Humphries trade but now they are also said to be interested in making a deal for Hawks forward Josh Smith. It would be tough for them to put together a package big enough to acquire Smith unless they involved a third team though.

J.J. Redick will also be a free agent this summer and the Magic guard has the shooting ability that might really help a contending team. That has allowed his name to spring up in all sorts of trade rumours of late. Over the past week he has been linked with the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks but he sounds as if he is expecting to stay put.

 Over the weekend, Yahoo! Sports reported that the Phoenix Suns were interested in acquiring Iman Shumpert from the Knicks in a deal which would see Jarred Dudley go the other way.

Shumpert met with his coach on Saturday and he told him not to be bothered by the report. “He said don’t worry about it,” Shumpert told the New York Times. “Rumours are rumours. I don’t really care. I just have to play ball. I can’t control that anyway. It’s nothing to worry about. I just have to go out there and play.”

While the Suns are said to be interested in Shumpert, reports out of Arizona say that they may also be interested in getting Jefferson or Hayward from the Jazz.
One team that won’t be looking to make a deal resides in Dallas. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle told reporters he did not expect the Mavericks to pull the trigger unless it’s an “over the top” deal. Dallas is trying to preserve its cap space for next summer — again.
