What a year for Rick Pitino.
Not only did the Louisville coach get named to the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame but Pitino also led Louisville to an NCAA crown. He has since followed that up with a new tattoo and now it has been announced that Pitino will get his mug featured on a bottle of Maker’s Mark.
The distillery has a deal with Louisville which will see the company produce three commemorative bottles of bourbon. The first was released last season and it featured the school’s football coach Charlie Strong.
In exchange for the deal, the bourbon maker has pledged $500,000 to the school’s Academic Center of Excellence.
