Toronto Raptors guard Norman Powell continues to impress, regardless of where he’s playing.
Powell scored 29 points to go along with eight rebounds as the Raptors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 82-80 on Sunday in Summer League action. Bruno Caboclo contributed 15 points in the victory while point guard Delon Wright chipped in with 13.
Kris Dunn, the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, led the way for Minnesota (0-2) with 21 points and nine rebounds.
The Raptors (2-0) entered the fourth quarter down by eight points, but stormed back to win it thanks in large part to Powell’s strong play down the stretch.
Next up for Toronto is a matchup with the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
