Dates with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves at the Air Canada Centre highlight the Toronto Raptors’ seven-game pre-season schedule, which was announced on Tuesday.
The Raptors will host Vaughan, Ont., native Andrew Wiggins and the Timberwolves on Oct. 12 and LeBron James’ Cavs on Oct. 18 at ACC. Those are the only two contests in Toronto, with other games coming in Vancouver (Oct. 4, Los Angeles Clippers), Ottawa (Oct. 14, Timberwolves) and Montreal (Oct. 23, Washington Wizards).
The club will also head to California for exhibition games against the NBA champion Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Coming off a four-game sweep at the hands of the Wizards in the first round of the playoffs, the Raptors will feature a new-look roster this season, highlighted by the additions of forward DeMarre Carroll and Canadian point guard Cory Joseph.
