Raptors rookie OG Anunoby leaves game with right ankle sprain

Toronto Raptors rookie OG Anunoby suffered a right ankle sprain against the Charlotte Hornets Sunday and will not return to the game.

Anunoby left the game after picking up a foul with 1:05 to go in the second quarter. The 20-year-old exited the contest with one rebound and one assist in 11 minutes of action.

On the season, Anunoby was averaging 6.1 points per game on 44.8 per cent shooting entering Sunday’s game in a starting role for the Eastern Conference-leading Raptors.
