It appears the Toronto Raptors are inching closer to acquiring Rudy Gay from the Memphis Grizzlies.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Raptors and Grizzlies are getting closer to pulling off a trade that would send Gay to Toronto and Jose Calderon and Ed Davis to Memphis.

Wojnarowski also reports a deal could be completed as soon as Wednesday night.

Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo has been searching for an athletic small forward for some time and Gay would immediately fill that role in Toronto.
Gay signed a five-year, $82-million contract in the summer of 2010. He has averaged 17.2 points and 5.9 for Memphis this season.
