The Toronto Raptors will open their 2013-14 schedule by hosting the Boston Celtics.
Although the Raptors will open with six of their first nine games on the road, it will not be nearly as tough a schedule as last season when they played 17 of their first 22 games away from Toronto.
Former Raptor Andrea Bargnani and his New York Knicks will be in Toronto on Dec. 28th for their first visit of the season on a back end of a home-and-home.
The two-time defending champion Miami Heat will be in Toronto twice over the first month of the season when they visit on Nov. 5 and 29.
Canadians Tristan Thompson and 2013 first-overall draft pick Anthony Bennett will be at Air Canada Centre on February 21 when the Cleveland Cavaliers make their only appearance in Toronto.
The team’s longest road swing is five games from Jan. 31 to Feb. 7 while the longest homestand is four games from Nov. 22 to Dec. 1.
The Raptors’ busiest month is January with 17 games, including a season-high nine at home. They’ll play a season-high nine games on the road in December.
