Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler will win the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award, according to multiple reports.
The 25-year-old raised his scoring average by a whopping seven points per game from last season, while also enjoying an uptick in nearly every other statistical category.
Butler was invaluable to the Bulls in 2014-15, helping guide his team to the third-best record in the Eastern Conference while earning a spot on the all-star team.
His success has translated to the post-season, averaging a team-high 23.4 points per game to go along with 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.5 steals.
Butler is a restricted free agent this summer, and will be due for a hefty raise from his $2 million salary.
