The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to terms with veteran Vince Carter on a three-year, $12-million deal, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 37-year-old Carter spent the past three seasons with the Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 11.9 points, 2.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 39.4 percent from behind the arc coming off the bench last season.
Carter was reportedly considering re-signing with Dallas but was unable to come to terms on a new deal due to the Mavericks’ lack of cap space.
The former Raptor has averaged 20.2 points, 3.7 assists and 4.9 rebounds in his 16-year career.
