The Golden State Warriors have re-signed JaVale McGee to a one-year contract worth the veteran’s minimum, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.
McGee, 29, helped the Golden State win a championship last season, appearing in 77 games while averaging 6.1 points on 65.2 per cent shooting from the field to go along with 3.2 rebounds off the bench.
It was the first time since the 2012-13 campaign that McGee was able to play in over 70 games.
McGee is the Warriors’ 15th guaranteed contract, which completes their roster heading into the 2017-18 season.
