Report: Lakers sign Canadian Tyler Ennis to one-year contract

The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly signed Canadian guard Tyler Ennis to a one-year minimum contract with a team option for a second year.

Ennis split the 2016-17 season with the Houston Rockets and the Lakers. In 22 games with Los Angeles, the 22-year-old averaged 7.7 points and 2.4 assists per game.

A native of Brampton, Ont., Ennis was selected 18th overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 2014 NBA Draft.
