Hedo Turkoglu’s time with the Orlando Magic could be coming to an end.
According to a report from Yahoo! Sports, the Magic and Turkoglu are making progress in discussions towards a contract buyout.
If the Magic decide to buy out Turkoglu, he would need to clear waivers before becoming an unrestricted free agent.
The 34-year-old small forward has $12 million remaining in the last year of his contract.
Turkoglu played in just 11 games last season and averaged 2.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
The Turkish forward has played 897 career NBA games with the Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Magic, Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns.
