The Toronto Raptors will be in the market for a veteran power forward this summer <a target=”_blank” class=”link” href=”http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba–nba-power-rankings–no-one-can-cool-the-heat-155026241.html“>according to Yahoo! Sports columnist Marc J. Spears.</a>

A source told Spears that if Golden State Warriors power forward Carl Landry opts out of the final year of his contract, the Raptors would be interested in his services.
It would be a surprise if Landry did not opt out as he has one year left on his current deal, which would pay him $4 million next season. He is a strong defender with the ability to guard bigger post players, an attribute that will likely have a few teams interested in his services.
Currently in his sixth NBA season, the 29-year-old spent time with the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Hornets before joining the Warriors as a free agent last summer.
In 64 appearances for the Warriors this season, Landry is averaging 11.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
