The Toronto Raptors will waive centre Justin Hamilton after acquiring him from the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.
Hamilton, 27, started seven of his 64 games last season and averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. The seven-footer was originally drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft.
According to earlier reports, the Raptors acquired Hamilton in a trade that sent DeMarre Carroll, a first-round pick and a second-round pick to Brooklyn.
