The Toronto Raptors have waived veteran guard Quentin Richardson, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

Richardson was originally acquired by the Raptors in the deal that saw Toronto send embattled forward Andrea Bargnani to the New York Knicks.

In July the Raptors bought out Camby’s contract, making the draft picks and Novak the only assets they’ve now kept in that original trade.

Last season with the Knicks, Richardson played one game — tallying five points and 10 rebounds.

Richardson had three years and over $4.3 million remaining on his contract.
