Dwane Casey appears to have found the final pieces for his reconfigured coaching staff.
Minnesota Timberwolves assistant Bill Bayno will be on the bench in Toronto next season, according to reports.
Having been with the Timberwolves since 2011, Bayno has also spent time as an assistant with the Portland Trail Blazers. Prior to joining the pro ranks, Bayno was head coach at UNLV.
It also looks as though former Houston Rockets assistant Jesse Mermuys will be coming on board as well.
Earlier in the week, the team announced that Nick Nurse was joining the staff while reports indicate Tom Sterner and John Townsend will return from last year’s staff.
Former assistants Micah Nori and Eric Hughes have moved on to Sacramento and Brooklyn, respectively, while it remains to be seen where Johnny Davis will end up.
