The Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics have resumed talks over the services of coach Doc Rivers and power forward Kevin Garnett, according to multiple online reports.

Rumours first surfaced of discussions between the two NBA clubs on Saturday with the framework of the deal that would see DeAndre Jordan and a first-round pick move to Boston for Kevin Garnett. Boston would then buy allow Rivers out of the contract that will pay him $21 million over the next three seasons. The sticking point toward making any change appears to be Eric Bledsoe, the young backup point guard that the Celtics want included as they begin a rebuild.

The Celtics are ready to rebuild and may be willing to look at other options aside from Bledsoe to get a trade done, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The potential pieces that could move in this deal appear to be constantly shifting as the Celtics look to drop salaries and get under the tax. The Clippers may take back the contracts of either Courtney Lee or Jason Terry to get a deal done, according to ESPN.com.
