Houston Rockets guard James Harden has announced that he will be donating $1 million to the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

“This is home for me,” Harden said Saturday. “I just want to donate and give back to the community as much as I can.”

The 28-year-old also thanked Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and Houston mayor Sylvester Turner for their contributions to the city.
