Ibaka, Powell out for Raptors vs. Knicks on Friday

Coach Casey describes Fred Vanvleet as a grinder, a survivor, someone that's had to fight for everything he's ever gotten, and will now get a chance to fill a pretty big void left when Delon Wright went down.

The Toronto Raptors have ruled out Serge Ibaka and Norman Powell from Friday’s game versus the New York Knicks.

Both players were initially placed on the injury list, but have since been downgraded.

Toronto plays New York at the Air Canada Centre Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. You can watch the game live on Sportsnet ONE.
