Steve Nash is continuing to dish out assists well into his retirement.

In his first vlog post titled ‘When No One’s Looking,’ the Canadian basketball legend takes time during the season of giving to meet with homeless youth aged 12 to 25 from Venice Beach, Calif., and provide them with socks and hats.

He later participates in some pick-up 3-on-3 basketball action, where he makes a couple of vintage plays with a behind-the-back pass and a one-legged step-back jumper.

On Nash’s YouTube channel, he states that he’s created the vlog to “show you my life after basketball, and hopefully give you some of the lessons basketball and life have taught me in my career.”

Since retiring, the Victoria, B.C., native has served as a part-time consultant to the Golden State Warriors while continuing his role as general manager of the Canada men’s national basketball team.

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced his eligibility for the Hall of Fame in December, which will allow him to be enshrined in 2018.
