Ross leaves Raptors game after injuring ankle

Toronto Raptors guard Terrence Ross left Thursday’s game against the Washington Wizards with a sprained left ankle and will not return.

Ross was driving to the basket in the second quarter when he stepped on a foot and turned his left ankle. The 23-year-old shot two free throws before heading to the locker room. Ross had accumulated 11 points, two rebounds and an assist in 16 minutes before exiting the game.

In 57 games this season, Ross is averaging 10.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists to go along with a .424 shooting percentage.
