In addition, centre Jonas Valanciunas will be returning to the lineup on Friday. Like Gay, he will be coming off the bench against the Clippers.
Power forward Andrea Bargnani took part in Friday morning’s shootardound but he will not suit up and Amir Johnson will get the start.

Bargnani has not been available since he suffered an elbow injury in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Dec. 10.
Valanciunas injured his hand in a Dec. 21 win over the Orlando Magic.
The Raptors acquired Gay and centre Hamed Haddadi on Wednesday in a three-way deal with the Memphis and Detroit which saw Jose Calderon become a Piston as Ed Davis, Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye all join the Grizzlies.
