Toronto Raptors centre Bismack Biyombo will get the start against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday in place of the injured Jonas Valanciunas, who will not have surgery to repair the fractured fourth metacarpal in his left hand.

Valanaciunas will reportedly miss about six weeks to heal.

This will be the first time Biyombo has started as a member of the Raptors. He started 136 games over a four-season span with Charlotte.

The six-foot-nine Biyombo is averaging 4.4 points and 5.8 rebounds on 40.4 per cent shooting in 14 games played this season.

The Clippers also made an adjustment to their starting lineup. Old Raptors nemesis Paul Pierce will start Sunday.
