The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the Golden State Warriors to take Game 3 133-105 on Sunday. Here’s what stood about the game:
Thunder high
Not only did the Thunder set a new high for points scored this post-season, they also set an all-time franchise record. Far from a two-man show, Oklahoma City had six players in double figures. Only 12 teams scored 117 points or more against the Warriors this season yet somehow Golden State gave up 117 to OKC in three quarters.
Splash Brothers shoot bricks
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson scored but never were able to leave their imprint on the game. The Splash Brothers shot a combined 5-of-19 for 36.3 per cent shooting from three-point range. Thompson finished the game minus-41 and Curry wasn’t much better at minus-39. Curry hit his 191st career three-pointer in the playoffs passing Rasheed Wallace for 14th all-time.
Thunder dominate boxscore at home
In their last two home games, the Thunder led the Spurs by 28 and in Game 3 versus the Warriors they led by 28. Despite the game being close early on Oklahoma City dominated in every facet. The Thunder won every category that the Warriors normally win.
Rebounds: Thunder +14
Turnovers: Warriors +2
Points off turnovers: Thunder +4
Free throw attempts: Thunder +12

Draymond discipline
Draymond Green was minus-43 on Sunday, which is the worst performance in the history of the stat. The bigger concern is the flagrant one foul he received for kicking Steven Adams in the groin. It marks the second straight game Green has managed to hit Adams low. The bad news is the foul could be upgraded to a flagrant two or worse and easily cost the Warriors their most well rounded player. Dahntay Jones was suspended for a similar action against Bismack Biyombo in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Key Stats: The Warriors have not lost back-to-back games all season. The Warriors have gone down in a best-of-seven series three times in the last two years. In each case they’ve come back to win the next three games in the series.
