Will Ferrell has done his fair share of sports movies: Semi-Pro, Blade of Glory and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby to name a few.

The actor made himself known in the sports world yet again Wednesday appearing at halftime of an NBA game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers.

The star of the Anchorman films wasn’t there to promote charity or make a halftime dunk; he actually bumbled onto the court and struck a cheerleader in the head with a basketball.

Fortunately, this was all a gaffe.

Ferrell was filming a scene for his upcoming movie Daddy’s Home and the cheerleader is actually TNA Wrestling Knockouts champion Taryn Terrell, who takes a pretty impressive bump.

Even if it was all a stunt, Ferrell does rocket the ball into the side of the wrestler’s head. How’s your hearing this morning Taryn?
