TORONTO (April 11, 2011) – Rogers Sportsnet is the official broadcast partner of the Vancouver Canucks 2011 Playoffs and will present unprecedented Canucks playoff coverage starting with the Canucks Playoff Preview on Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet Pacific.

The 30-minute preview show will feature host Don Taylor from Sportsnet’s Vancouver studio with Hockeycentral analysts John Garrett and Garry Valk providing an in-depth look at the Canucks heading into the postseason. Sportsnet Connected reporters Dan Murphy and Craig MacEwen will also appear to set-up the first-round Western Conference series between the Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks.

Sportsnet’s Canucks playoff coverage, more than any other Canadian broadcaster, will also present Canucks Connected Playoff Edition, offering both a one-hour pre-game and one-hour post-game show for every Canucks playoff game night starting on Wednesday, April 13 at 6 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet Pacific and Citytv Vancouver. In addition, Canucks Connected Playoff Edition will also offer a one-hour show during non-game nights of the Canucks and Blackhawks series.

The Sportsnet panel of Taylor, Garrett, Valk, Murphy and MacEwen, along with Connected reporter Gene Principe, will cover every step of the Canucks playoff run with Canucks Connected: Playoff Edition.
