Bio: I grew up in rural Manitoba and played everything: hockey, baseball, football, rugby, competitive swimming, wrestling, skiing, and all the things you play at school. I, like many others, just couldn't get enough. When I got into the radio business I actually started as a news anchor, but while working at CKSL in London, Ontario I got the chance to switch to the sports department.

I then moved to CFRA in Ottawa to work on the Rough Rider CFL broadcasts, and after a few years, became the play-by-play voice of CFL football in Ottawa. I can't wait until the CFL returns to the Nations Capital.

In 1992 the city of Ottawa started playing hockey in the NHL and I was fortunate to be selected to be the first play-by-play voice on CFRA. Since then I have worked on local TV in Ottawa, as the Ottawa correspondent for TSN, and also for CBC TV Sports doing both football and hockey. I continue to work on the Team 1200 and have done Ottawa Senators hockey on Sportsnet since 1998.

I get to work with Hall of Famer Denis Potvin and Ian Mendez on our Sportsnet Broadcasts and that makes a great job even better.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoy doing it.
