Bio: Having been in newspapers since 1985, it really makes me feel old to think I've been doing radio for nearly two decades, back to before The Fan was The Fan. But that's the truth. So coming on board - back on board? Did I ever leave? - with the radio station, now Sportsnet Radio The FAN 590, just seemed like coming home in February, 2011. All in all, I've been blessed with a chance to work in newspapers, radio and television with some of the best people out there, and have had great opportunities to cover sport, and particularly hockey, at the highest levels. I've seen Doug MacLean coach in a Stanley Cup final. I've seen Nick Kypreos play in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Honest! I was there when Gord Stellick managed the Maple Leafs. I've heard all of Darren Millard's goaltending stories, and believe none of them. I've also worked with the best broadcasters in the country, from Dan Shulman to Dave Hodge to Bob McCown, and worked alongside outstanding journalists like Stephen Brunt, Jim Hunt, Jim Proudfoot and so many others. Highlights? Four Olympic games would be right up there, as well as 20 Stanley Cup finals and 12 Grey Cups. I've written about them and talked about them on radio and television, and hopefully I've got a few more highlights in front of me.
