Birthplace:
Born and raised in Lower mainland, as Bureau Chief of the Pacific Region -- it gives me great pride to know that no one covers sports in BC better than our incredible staff here in Vancouver. Canucks, Lions, Whitecaps, Jr. Hockey….the list goes on and on.
I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Communications, finished a two-year Broadcast Journalism program at BCIT, and before all that…went to high school at West Vancouver Secondary.
The late Paul Carson gave me my start in the business at CKVU, where I spent the first seven plus years of my career as a host, reporter, writer, researcher and producer. That incredible environment, learning and working alongside the best in the business, helped launch my career here at the "S-pac".
Besides the highlights listed above, I also won't forget covering : Mike Weir's first PGA tour victory at the ACC, Canada's first Olympic Gold medal victory at the Salt Lake Games, and Vancouver winning the right to host the 2010 Olympics at IOC meetings in Prague.
