Bio:Eric is currently in his 7th season as the radio colour analyst for the Toronto Raptors and his 14th season as the host of the Raptors' pre-, half-, and post-game radio broadcasts on Sportsnet 590 the FAN.
Smith also hosts a weekly NBA radio show ("Hoops") and a number of talk shows on the FAN as well.
In 2003, he began working for NBA TV Canada, appearing on past and present shows like "Double Dribble", "Full Court Press", "Raptors Today".
Smith has also written columns and blogs for NBA.com and Raptors.com, appeared on NBA TV's "Insiders", worked as Global TV's NBA Analyst (2001-2006), and hosted an NBA-sponsored radio program, "The NBA this Week" (2002-03). He regularly guests on radio and TV shows throughout Canada and the U.S.
In December 2010, he recorded and sold a Christmas album; raising money for Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment's "Team Up" foundation and in March 2011, following the natural disasters in Japan, he designed and sold a t-shirt that raised nearly $5000 for the Canadian Red Cross' Japanese Relief Fund.
