Birthplace:
I went to Ryerson in Toronto where I got a degree in Radio and Television Arts and after a career stop at the Weather Network while moonlighting as game host for the Toronto Maple Leafs, I would soon find myself living the dream of working in sports broadcasting. I became the first female anchor at The Score where highlights during my 6 years included covering the 2000 Subway Series, and MLB and NHL All-Star Games. During that time, I pulled double duty at Hockey Night in Canada as a host and rink-side reporter for 2 seasons where it was a real thrill to work alongside Don Cherry and Ron McLean.
Then six years ago...I landed here at Sportsnet where I recently fulfilled my childhood dream of participating in the Olympics. Maybe it wasn't as an athlete...but being part of the broadcast team at the Games in Vancouver will be one career experience hard to top!

Bio: My story started out in small town Saskatchewan where I was born and raised and developed an early love of sport. And when I say small...I mean SMALL. There were only 9 kids in my class so if we didn't all play sports, we couldn't even make a team. When it came to television...on the farm we got two channels and on Saturday nights Hockey Night in Canada was a ritual. I'd also be glued to the TV whenever the Olympics and Commonwealth Games were on. It was during those early years, that I came to the realization that I would never be an Olympic athlete, but I decided it sure would be cool to interview them. Thus my pursuit of a career in television broadcasting was born.I went to Ryerson in Toronto where I got a degree in Radio and Television Arts and after a career stop at the Weather Network while moonlighting as game host for the Toronto Maple Leafs, I would soon find myself living the dream of working in sports broadcasting.
