Bio: Bio in Giulio's own words: It all started for me back in high school when one of my buddies, who worked for the Toronto Blue Jays ground crew, asked me if I needed a job? Being on that ground crew was the greatest experience. I knew from the first moment I walked on to the turf at Exhibition Stadium; someway, somehow I had to be involved in sports. I was fortunate enough to receive a football scholarship to Simon Fraser University in 1986 where for the next five years I played quarterback and punter. In 1991 I signed with the BC Lions and enjoyed an eight year career with the organization. I was lucky to have played with many great players such as Lui Passaglia, Doug Flutie, Danny McManus and Kent Austin just to name a few.

When I finished playing football in 1998, I was very fortunate to find a second career as rewarding as playing football. I was hired by the West Vancouver Fire Department. Soon after, I was approached by the Lions play-by-play man JP McConnell on whether I'd be interested in doing the Lions pre and post-game radio show. This eventually led to me to be the radio analyst for the broadcasts. Ten years later, I still love what I do. Now, I'm thrilled to be a part of the Sportsnet team.

Any spare time I have, you'll catch me hanging out with my wife Linda and two wonderful daughters Jessica and Sarah.
