Bio: I'm a soccer reporter by trade, but this is a labour of love for me. Growing up in an Italian household, soccer was like a religion to me - Sunday mornings were spent on the sofa watching Serie A matches with my dad. After a brief stint at Sun Media, I moved to CBC Sports in 2002 and served its website's chief soccer reporter for the next nine years. During my time with the national broadcaster, I was able to pursue my love and passion for the beautiful game by covering some of the sport's biggest events, including the 2010 World Cup, the 2003 UEFA Champions League final, and the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup. I also became an MLS beat reporter, covering Toronto FC since Day 1 of the franchise. I signed on with Sportsnet in late 2011, and hope to use my expertise to broaden the depth and level of our online coverage of soccer
