Career highlight:Almost too many to mention, but a few stand out: Covering Super Bowl 42 when the Giants stunned the undefeated Patriots on a last second touchdown; Interviewing Andy Fantuz in the Riders locker room after they won the Grey Cup in 2007; Seeing the look of pure joy on the face of Rex Ryan when he told the story about how he and his twin brother Rob went to the very first Blue Jays game when his family lived in Toronto; Almost 16 years to the day I was originally hired to be the producer of the Fan 590 morning show; being named the co-host of the morning show at Sportsnet Radio the Fan 590.
Special interests/hobbies:Spending time with my wife and two daughters. Walking my beloved dog, a Vizsla named "Hershey". Cross training and physical fitness. Hockey and golf. My biggest non-sports hobby involves the study of military history with an emphasis on Canada's role in World War 2.
Bio: A veteran broadcaster and writer, Jim Lang has been covering sports for the last 17 years. During that time, Lang has covered five Super Bowls, he's embarked on various NFL training camp tours, he's been the play-by-play voice of the Argonauts, he's covered three Grey Cups, the Stanley Cup Final, The Scott Tournament of Hearts and to top it off he was also Sportsnet's beat reporter for the Maple Leafs.Since 2003 Jim has been a regular contributor to Sportsnet.ca and is the main NFL writer for the website.
