Bio:
Remember that guy in the back of the class who had the newspaper stats sheets tucked away in his binder? That was me. You don’t even want to know how little I would have accomplished in school if I had today’s technology then.

I grew up loving all things hockey, like most Canadian kids. Whether it was skating at the local Edmonton rinks after school or on weekends, playing for community teams, or getting together with friends for table (I still have the mini Stanley Cup!), street or video game hockey – the passion ran as deeply back then as it does now.

I graduated from NAIT’s broadcasting program while tackling Sports Editor duties for the school newspaper. Hockey content has never been or will ever be as high. In fact, I’m fairly sure the coaches for the other sports thought the newspaper stopped printing for a season since nobody ever came around to cover them.

After some work in radio, my career path eventually led me to writing about fantasy hockey with ESPN.com and Canoe.ca before landing with the Sportsnet.ca family in 2007.
