Writing the book Sandra Schmirler: The Queen of Curling. Sandra was a humble Canadian star who skipped her team to a gold medal for Canada in 1998 Olympics. Tragically, she died two years later. Her family was gracious enough to work with me in telling her story, which became a national bestseller.

Special interests/hobbies:

Physical fitness. Watching and playing sports. Reading sports books, in particular biographies or autobiographies; music from the '70s; watching mixed martial arts and professional wrestling.
