Bio:

"I have a great passion for the game of baseball and love every aspect of the game. During the course of my playing career, I had several opportunities that introduced me to the world of broadcasting. I remember in 1987, when Buck Martinez was covering the Toronto Blue Jays' games as an analyst, it was obvious he was having fun with his second career. That thought really began me thinking about what I would want to do as a second career. After a successful playing career that ended with me being a member of a World Series Championship team I knew I wanted to some day match that accomplishment with a successful career as an analyst.

My first broadcasting assignment was in 2000 as a Radio Analyst with the Fresno Grizzlies, a San Francisco Giants' AAA Affiliate. Not only was it exciting to finally be fulfilling a dream, but to be doing it with an organization close to my hometown made the experience exceptional. The opportunity came for me to do some analyst work with the Montreal Expos during their last year and eventually to the position that I have today.

My desire is to bring a great knowledge of the game to the viewing or listening audience. I want everyone to feel like they are sitting right next to me having an enthusiastic conversation about the great game of baseball. I enjoy talking about the game to people of all ages in any setting. When someone is watching a game thinking, "why did that player just do that?", I hope I'm right there answering that very question. I truly love what I'm doing and I want to do it as long as possible."
