Bio:I fell in love with soccer at an early age. One of my earliest childhood memories was waking up early every weekend to watch soccer in my parent’s basement, draped in my Liverpool FC scarf. I live and breathe the beautiful game. It has always been a goal of mine to turn my passion into a career. I’ve worked in the sports industry for over a decade, starting right out of high school as an archivist for Sportsnet. I was determined to achieve my dream and eventually began freelancing with Soccercentral as an associate producer in 2005. I also gained experience covering Toronto FC and the Canadian National Team (Men & Women) at BMO Field, gathering statistics for the analysts in the booth and being the eyes and ears of the production truck as a red hat pitch side. I decided to focus purely on the writing side a couple years back, getting my first break during the 2010 World Cup writing for The Guardian Fans Network in the UK, even appearing on a couple popular podcasts and radio programs as a result. Since then I continued my freelance writing, contributing articles to various media outlets and created my own blog site (Soccerholic365). I’m excited to contribute my knowledge of the game from the perspective of a goalkeeper, pundit and more importantly fan of the game.
