TORONTO — Victoria bantamweight Sarah Kaufman will take on Germaine (The Iron Lady) de Randamie on a UFC televised card Dec. 19 in Orlando.

Kaufman is ranked fifth among 135-pounder contenders while de Randamie is No. 15.

Rafael Dos Anjos will defend his lightweight title against No. 2 Donald (Cowboy) Cerrone in the main event of the Amway Center show.

"Excited to finally have a fight date! FINALLY! Dec 19 can’t come soon enough," Kaufman tweeted.

The 29-year-old Kaufman (17-2 with one no contest) is coming off a second-round submission loss to fellow Canadian Alexis Davis at UFC 186 in April. The former Strikeforce champion is 1-1 with a no contest in the UFC.

Kaufman had been lobbying for a fight with No. 1 Miesha Tate, No. 2 Cat Zingano or No. 9 Bethe Correia.

Originally from the Netherlands, De Randamie (5-3) now fights out of California. The 31-year-old former kickboxer is 1-2 in the UFC.
