TORONTO — Unbeaten Canadian middleweight Elias (The Spartan) Theodorou will fight Texan Roger (Silverback) Narvaez at UFC 185 on March 14 in Dallas.

The 185-pounder from Toronto is coming off a decision win over Brazilian Bruno Santos in October in Halifax.

The 26-year-old Theodorou (10-0) won "The Ultimate Fighter Nations" middleweight crown in April 2014, stopping fellow Canadian Sheldon Westcott in the second round in Quebec City.

Narvaez (7-1) is 1-1 in the UFC, winning a split decision over Luke Barnatt last time out after losing to Patrick Cummings by second-round TKO.

A firefighter with the Corpus Christi Fire Department, the 31-year-old Narvaez is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and taekwondo.
