There’s no doubt that Milos Raonic is on the way up. He’s cracked the ATP top 10—No. 6 in the world, heading into the US Open—reached a Grand Slam quarterfinal in Paris, became the first Canadian to ever make a Grand Slam semi at Wimbledon. The boy from Thornhill, Ont., is making good. But how good? Compared to where the big four of men’s tennis—Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and Murray—stood when they were 24 years old, the soon-to-be 24-year-old Raonic is lagging badly.
