Kawasaki bats second, Bautista in centre

Munenori Kawasaki is back in the Toronto Blue Jays’ starting lineup, batting second and starting at second base. Meanwhile, Jose Bautista gets the start in centre field as Moises Sierra starts in right.

Bautista played four innings in centre field this year, but he last started a game there in 2009. Melky Cabrera would have been the Blue Jays’ other candidate to start in centre, but he’s slated to play left field. Colby Rasmus experienced hamstring soreness over the weekend, which leaves the Blue Jays without their starting centre fielder for the time being.
