The University of Lethbridge men’s hockey team made good on their promise to teammate Dylan Tait on Friday night.

Tait is currently undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with testicular cancer this past November and the team is raising money for the Canadian Cancer society. On Friday, as part of the fundraiser, the entire team shaved their heads.

The team is also sporting Canadian Cancer Society decals on their helmets to show their support.

Team members have already shaved their heads, but their campaign is about $3,700 shy of its $15,000 goal. You can make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society through the team’s fundraising page. Donations to the Chinook Regional Hospital, where Tait is receiving treatment, can be made through the Dylan Tait Tribute Fund.
