Canada look to move one step closer to World T20

TORONTO — All-rounder Rizwan Cheema will captain Canada at the Pepsi ICC Americas Division 1 T20 tournament next month in Indianapolis.

The competition, which runs May 3-10, also features Bermuda, Suriname and the U.S. The top two teams will advance to the 2015 ICC World T20 Qualifier in Ireland and Scotland in July.

Canada will prepare for the Indianapolis event in Houston, playing three T20 matches against an invitational side.
