TORONTO — One of Canada’s best-known curlers is heading to China.
Marcel Rocque, an Edmonton native who played lead for Randy Ferbey’s “Ferbey Four,” will oversee the Chinese Curling Association’s men’s and women’s teams for the 2013-14 season, including the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Rocque is a four-time champion at the Tim Hortons Brier and three-time champion at the world men’s curling championship.
Sochi will mark the first trip to a Winter Olympics.
