Fan Fuel: Hot NFL fantasy picks for Week 5

BY JAMES HUNT – FAN FUEL BLOGGER

The view from the top sure is nice as yours truly is sitting at 4-0 after a great fantasy NFL weekend. The undefeated dream lives on. But I digress.

Here are the “HUNT” fantasy picks of the week.

1. James Jones – WR – Green Bay

The Packers go into Indy to face Andrew Luck and the Colts and it could be another high scoring affair for the Pack. With Greg Jennings nursing an injured hamstring, JJ should have a pretty busy and productive Sunday.

2. JJ Watt – DE – Houston

Speaking of JJ’s, this guy is on fire and there’s no reason to think he is going to slow down this week as the Texans pay a visit to Mark Sanchez and the Jets. JJ meet Mark. Mark meet turf.

3. Philip Rivers – QB – San Diego

Another game that promises to be a high scoring affair as the Chargers roll into the Big Easy. The Saints are in disarray on defence and that means happy days for fantasy owners with Rivers on their roster.

4. Brandon Lloyd – WR – New England

Lloyd has more targets than any other Patriot receiver this year and this weekend he faces his old Bronco teammates at home in Foxborough. Brady “went off” last weekend and he would love nothing more than to help his new teammate have a field day against his old team.

5. Minnesota D/ST

The Vikings are at home. They are in first place in the NFC Central. They are at home to face Matt Hasselback, Chris Johnson and the rest of the Titans “offence”. As they say, you do the math. Should be a massive day for the Viking’s D and possibly special teams.

Happy Hunting!!
