STATS: PART DEUX
We began with the Eastern Conference yesterday, so today it's time to trot out the West.
Here are the top players per team with a full statistical complement that includes: career playoff stats, '10-11 point totals and points since the All-Star break.
Also included: starting lines from the last game; top power play times from the last outing, the top power play minute men per team in '10-11 and a few quick notes per roster.
And, as was the case with the Eastern stats, I've tried to include up-to-the-minute injury info as of the publication of this blog. New stuff is being released all the time though, so read the notes with that in mind.
VANCOUVER CANUCKS
Lines combos: Daniel Sedin - Henrik Sedin - Alexandre Burrows/ Chris Higgins - Ryan Kesler - Mikael Samuelsson/ Tanner Glass - Mason Raymond - Jannik Hansen/ - Maxim Lapierre - Jeff Tambellini/ Aaron Rome - Kevin Bieksa/ Alexander Edler - Christian Ehrhoff/ Keith Ballard - Sami Salo
Top PP times (last game): Ehrhoff (3:09), Sedins (2:57), Kesler (2:40), Samuelsson (2:40)
Top PP times (season to date): Edler (3:49), Kesler (3:38), D. Sedin (3:37), H. Sedin (3:36), Ehrhoff (3:34), Samuelsson (2:28), Salo (1:55), Bieksa (1:44), Hamhuis (1:35), Higgins (1:33), Raymond (1:22)
Quick notes: You'll sometimes hear the knock about the Sedins not producing in the playoffs, but just remember that Daniel has 24 points in his past 22 GP over the last two springs. Henrik has - surprise, surprise - the same totals in that time. The Canucks saw Alexander Edler return to active duty last night and Dan Hamhuis is very close, potentially ready to play Saturday. Andrew Alberts should be ready to go for the playoffs as well. A healthy set of D will be crucial in this tough Western Conference. Raffi Torres will miss the first few games of the first round due to the suspension following his Jordan Eberle hit. Mikael Samuelsson's numbers since the All-Star break (9-14-23 in 25 GP) are strong.

SAN JOSE SHARKS
Lines combos: Patrick Marleau - Joe Thornton - Devin Setoguchi/ Brandon Mashinter - Logan Couture - Dany Heatley/ Torrey Mitchell - Joe Pavelski - Kyle Wellwood/ Ben Eager - Andrew Desjardins - Jamal Mayers/ Douglas Murray - Dan Boyle/ Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Jason Demers/ Ian White - Niclas Wallin
Top PP times (last game): Pavelski (4:33), Setoguchi (4:12), Boyle (4:11), Marleau (3:37), Thornton (3:37)
Top PP times (season to date): Boyle (4:18), Thornton (3:23), Pavelski (3:22), Marleau (3:21), Heatley (3:15), Demers (2:15), Clowe (2:15), Couture (2:13), Setoguchi (1:57), White (1:47), Braun (1:03)
Quick notes: Ryane Clowe (who's normally on L2 in place of Mashinter in the lines you see here) may not see action until the start of the playoffs. Joe Thornton has been banged up and did not practice with his teammates yesterday, although as of this writing he's still slated to play tonight. Remember that Dan Boyle had 2-12-14 in 15 GP last spring and he is central to this team's offence - especially on the power play. Say what you will about Dany Heatley, but he is a point-per-game player over his playoff career. Devin Setoguchi's seasonal numbers don't look great, but once he was moved onto the Thornton line the kid really took off and his post-ASB splits reflect that fact.
Patrick Marleau: Career playoffs (45-30-75 in 106 GP); '10-11 (37-34-71 in 80 GP); Since All-Star break (19-16-35 in 30 GP).
Joe Thornton: Career playoffs (15-50-65 in 91 GP); '10-11 (20-48-68 in 78 GP); Since All-Star break (7-17-24 in 30 GP).
Joe Pavelski: Career playoffs (15-13-28 in 40 GP); '10-11 (19-46-65 in 72 GP); Since All-Star break (10-24-34 in 30 GP).
Dany Heatley: Career playoffs (12-36-48 in 48 GP); '10-11 (25-37-62 in 78 GP); Since All-Star break (7-12-19 in 28 GP).
Dan Boyle: Career playoffs (7-33-40 in 66 GP); '10-11 (9-41-50 in 74 GP); Since All-Star break (4-14-18 in 24 GP).
Ryane Clowe: Career playoffs (12-15-27 in 46 GP); '10-11 (24-38-62 in 75 GP); Since All-Star break (11-13-24 in 29 GP).

Devin Setoguchi: Career playoffs (7-7-14 in 30 GP); '10-11 (22-19-41 in 71 GP); Since All-Star break (12-14-26 in 30 GP).
Ian White: Career playoffs (N/A); '10-11 (0-18-18 in 60 GP; 0-8-8 in 21 GP with SJ); Since All-Star break (0-11-11 in 28 GP).
DETROIT RED WINGS
Lines combos: Henrik Zetterberg - Pavel Datsyuk - Danny Cleary/ Johan Franzen - Justin Abdelkader - Todd Bertuzzi/ Mike Modano - Valtteri Filppula - Tomas Holmstrom/ Kris Draper - Darren Helm - Patrick Eaves/ Nicklas Lidstrom - Brad Stuart/ Jonathan Ericsson - Brian Rafalski/ Jakub Kindl - Ruslan Salei
Top PP times (last game): Lidstrom (4:02), Rafalski (3:55), Datsyuk (3:40), Holmstrom (3:40), Franzen (3:35)

Quick notes: Henrik Zetterberg (knee) and Niklas Kronwall (upper-body) will miss the final two games of the regular season. Kronwall should be good to go for the playoffs, but Zetterberg will still be day-to-day when they begin. He says he'll "absolutely" play at some point in the post-season. It looks as though Joey MacDonald will begin the post-season as the back-up to Jimmy Howard. Chris Osgood is close though, apparently. If you're in a deep pool and think the Wings are going to go far, why not take a flier on Mike Modano in the last round? His low GP total will push him out of sight on everyone's list and even though he's a depth player here, he still has 145 points in 174 post-season starts. Johan Franzen has been off by his standards since netting that incredible five-goal game a few months ago, but he has been a playoff beast with 31-28-59 in 51 GP over the past three springs.
Pavel Datsyuk: Career playoffs (28-48-76 in 110 GP); '10-11 (22-36-58 in 54 GP); Since All-Star break (10-9-19 in 21 GP).

Johan Franzen: Career playoffs (35-34-69 in 75 GP); '10-11 (28-26-54 in 74 GP); Since All-Star break (7-11-18 in 26 GP).
Todd Bertuzzi: Career playoffs (12-24-36 in 64 GP); '10-11 (16-27-43 in 79 GP); Since All-Star break (8-6-14 in 30 GP).
Brian Rafalski: Career playoffs (27-70-97 in 154 GP); '10-11 (4-43-47 in 61 GP); Since All-Star break (0-15-15 in 23 GP).
Tomas Holmstrom: Career playoffs (42-46-88 in 164 GP); '10-11 (16-19-35 in 71 GP); Since All-Star break (5-8-13 in 27 GP).
Danny Cleary: Career playoffs (18-18-36 in 91 GP); '10-11 (25-19-44 in 66 GP); Since All-Star break (9-9-18 in 31 GP).
Valtteri Filppula: Career playoffs (15-26-41 in 75 GP); '10-11 (16-22-38 in 69 GP); Since All-Star break (4-4-8 in 23 GP).
Jiri Hudler: Career playoffs (9-19-28 in 51 GP); '10-11 (10-26-36 in 71 GP); Since All-Star break (6-12-18 in 27 GP).
LOS ANGELES KINGS
Lines combos: Ryan Smyth - Jarret Stoll - Dustin Brown/ Dustin Penner - Michal Handzus - Oscar Moller/ Wayne Simmonds - Brad Richardson- Kyle Clifford/ Alexei Ponikarovsky - Trevor Lewis - Kevin Westgarth/ Rob Scuderi - Drew Doughty/ Jack Johnson - Willie Mitchell/ Alec Martinez - Matt Greene

Quick notes: Anze Kopitar is toast for this season after surgery on torn ligaments in his ankle, but Justin Williams' shoulder has been improving and he may either be ready for the playoffs or not too far away once they begin. It's still a little unclear as of this writing, but progress is being seen.

Quick notes: Martin Erat will not play tonight, but will seemingly be ok for the playoffs. He's been on a really good offensive run. Steve Sullivan has been suffering through a groin injury, but is apparently ready now. Cal O'Reilly (broken fibula) may or may not play Saturday, but he's really close either way. Mike Fisher is riding a five-game point streak and may be getting hot at the right time, while both David Legwand and Sergei Kostitsyn have been chipping in steadily for even longer.

Quick notes: Patrick Sharp came back from his knee injury to play on Wednesday, while Dave Bolland is apparently making big strides in his return from a concussion in early March. Troy Brouwer is dealing with a shoulder injury, but that seems to be on the minor scale of things at this time. Can Michael Frolik find a way to turn his time with Marian Hossa into a nice sleeper role for anyone thinking Chicago has another Cup run in it?
Jonathan Toews: Career playoffs (14-28-42 in 39 GP); '10-11 (32-44-76 in 78 GP); Since All-Star break (15-21-36 in 30 GP).

DALLAS STARS
Lines combos: Jamie Benn - Brad Richards - Loui Eriksson/ Brenden Morrow - Mike Ribeiro - Steve Ott/ Toby Petersen - Tom Wandell - Jamie Langenbrunner/ Adam Burish - Jason Williams - Brandon Segal/ Mark Fistric - Alex Goligoski/ Jeff Woywitka - Trevor Daley/ Karlis Skrastins - Stephane Robidas
Top PP times (last game): Goligoski (6:12), Richards (6:09), Ribeiro (5:17), Morrow (5:16), Eriksson (5:05)
Top PP times (season to date): Richards (5:19), Goligoski (4:14), Ribeiro (3:49), Morrow (3:43), Eriksson (3:20), Robidas (2:52), Benn (2:18), Ott (2:16), Langenbrunner (2:12), Daley (1:56)
Quick notes: Adam Burish came back last night after missing 11 games. It strikes me as kind of funny that the Stars felt they could deal James Neal because of the emergence of Jamie Benn (soooo hot for more than a month now), but it wasn't until recently that they really put Benn in Neal's normal spot alongside Brad Richards. Regardless, Benn was a force in the WHL (13-20-33 in 19 GP in '08-9) and AHL (14-12-26 in 24 GP last spring) playoffs so there's no reason to think he'd be anything but at this level... should the Stars make it. And does Jamie Langenbrunner have some more playoff magic left, even in a supporting role?
Brad Richards: Career playoffs (21-41-62 in 63 GP); '10-11 (27-47-74 in 70 GP); Since All-Star break (7-10-17 in 20 GP).
