FLORIDA PANTHERS 2 @ PITTSBURGH PENGUINS 4

Goaltending match-up: Jose Theodore (25/29, .862 SV%) vs. Marc-Andre Fleury (32/34, .941 SV%). MAF was looking to fire the puck down the ice into the empty net with seconds left in the third and nearly cost his team a goal in the process. Whoops. His teammates were laughing about it after the final buzzer though.

Combos: Tomas Fleischmann - Stephen Weiss - Kris Versteeg/ David Booth - Tomas Kopecky - Scottie Upshall/ Sean Bergenheim - Marcel Goc - Jack Skille/ Shawn Matthias - Ryan Carter - Matt Bradley/ Ed Jovanovski - Erik Gudbranson/ Jason Garrison - Brian Campbell/ Mike Weaver - Dmitry Kulikov

Scratches: Ellerby, Dadonov

Top PP times: Campbell (6:24), Weiss (5:56), Booth (5:27), Fleischmann (5:11), Kulikov (4:27)

Trending: Thomas Fleischmann (1G, -1, 2 PIM, 3 SOG) had 21 points in his 22 GP with COL last season and so far he's a point-per-game player with the Panthers. After two games, sure, but still a good start offensively. Stephen Weiss (1A, -1, 2 SOG) also has points in both games and young Erik Gudbranson (1A, 1:41 PP, 3 SOG) collected his first NHL point in his second start.

Combos: Steve Sullivan - Mark Letestu - James Neal/ Chris Kunitz - Jordan Staal - Tyler Kennedy/ Matt Cooke - Joe Vitale - Pascal Dupuis/ Arron Asham - Richard Park - Craig Adams/ Kris Letang - Deryk Engelland/ Paul Martin - Zbynek Michalek/ Ben Lovejoy - Matt Niskanen

Scratches: MacIntyre, Orpik, Malkin

Top PP times: Letang (4:50), Kunitz (4:44), Neal (4:43), Sullivan (4:35), Kennedy (4:26)

Trending: Kris Letang (1A, +3, 2 PIM, 2 SOG) has come up with points in all four of his starts so far, tearing it up for his poolies. Pascal Dupuis (1G, 1A, +1, 0:03 PP, 1 SOG) has points in three of four. Matt Cooke (1G, +1, 2 PIM, 3:14 PP, 2 SOG) had a two-goal game in the opener in Vancouver, then was blanked twice coming in here. James Neal (1G, 2 SOG) has points in three of four in a solid start to the season, while Chris Kunitz (1A, +1, 1 SOG) finally made a box score appearance in his fourth outing.

MINNESOTA WILD 3 @ OTTAWA SENATORS 4 (SO)

Goaltending match-up: Niklas Backstrom (41/44, .932 SV%) vs. Craig Anderson (24/27, .889 SV%)

Combos: Devin Setoguchi - Mikko Koivu - Dany Heatley/ Brett Bulmer - Matt Cullen - Guillaume Latendresse/ Darroll Powe - Kyle Brodziak - Cal Clutterbuck/ Colton Gillies - Nick Johnson - Matt Kassian/ Greg Zanon - Marek Zidlicky/ Nick Schultz - Marco Scandella/ Clayton Stoner - Jared Spurgeon

Scratches: Staubitz, Falk, PMB

Top PP times: Zidlicky, Koivu, Heatley, Setoguchi (1:58), Spurgeon (1:16)

Trending: Ottawa fans love them some Dany Heatley (1A, -1, 1 SOG). He had 2-5-7 in 11 GP vs. his former team coming in. Heatley's first period assist guaranteed him a point-per-game average through three this year. Mikko Koivu (1A, -1, 3 SOG) has points in two of three, while Devin Setoguchi (1G, -1, 4 SOG) does as well. Shootout: Cullen

Combos: Colin Greening - Jason Spezza - Mika Zibanejad/ Milan Michalek - Stephane Da Costa - Daniel Alfredsson/ Nick Foligno - Peter Regin - Chris Neil/ Zack Smith - Zenon Konopka - Erik Condra/ Chris Phillips - David Rundblad/ Filip Kuba - Erik Karlsson/ Jared Cowen - Sergei Gonchar

Scratches: Lee, Butler, Filatov

Top PP times: Karlsson (6:03), Gonchar (6:02), Spezza (5:18), Alfredsson (3:46), Greening (3:16)

Trending: Erik Karlsson (1A, +1, 3 SOG) has helpers in all three affairs to date, so he's picked right up where he left off last season. Such talent. Milan Michalek (1A, -1, 2 PIM, 2:48 PP, 3 SOG) has points in all three games now, so he's wearing his good health well. Peter Regin (2A, +2, no PP, 5 SOG) was finally healthy enough to play his first game of the season here and he, Nick Foligno (1G, +1, 0:59 PP, 4 SOG) and Chris Neil (1G, 1A, +2, 0:54 PP, 2 SOG) chipped in their first pointage of the season. Nice bottom line for Neil, who is one of the better enforcers to have on your team with his ability to actually chip in some points. Zenon Konopka (17 PIM) has fought in each of his two starts with the Sens and has racked up plenty of PIM in the process. His faceoffs are a boost in leagues where that stat is counted too. Colin Greening (1G, 2 SOG) has found the back of the net in two of three. Shootout: Michalek, Spezza, Alfredsson
