What a way to finish a season, annihilating Toronto. Even the backups looked better than the Argos' regulars. Head coach Marc Trestman is clearly on a mission. He wanted his team to go after the jugular down the stretch and it did just that. The Als appeared to have corrected some problems in the back end. This may be one of the best Alouettes' teams in years and you just know they are hungry to finish off what they didn't do last year in Montreal in the Grey Cup. |

The ability to bounce back after a tough defeat defined the Roughriders' season-finale victory. Whether or not the flu contributed to the team's crushing defeat in Hamilton, it really showed its mettle in a solid victory at home against Calgary. Quarterback Darian Durant showed his leadership, which will be put to the test in the West final. The team's defence held its ground against Calgary, limiting their scoring. The Roughriders are clearly Canada's team now and whichever team meets them in the West Final will have to contend with the crowd noise. You just know Mosaic Stadium will be rocking. |

This is the now team. Ever since employing Kevin Glenn as its starting quarterback in the last five games of the season, the Ticats have been a different team. The key may have been a narrow loss to Montreal in the Ticats' first game with Glenn starting. They are on a three-race win streak. Beating Winnipeg on the road to lock up homefield advantage for the East Semi-Final showed the Ticats' heart and desire. Their back end absolutely destroyed the Bombers. |

Losing to the Roughriders in the final game of the season underlined this team's troubles this year. The Stamps have not been able to develop any kind of rhythm on offence aside from running back Joffrey Reynolds rushing. The passing game has faltered and didn't register a touchdown in the loss to the Roughriders. You just know the focus will again centre on quarterback Henry Burris, who hasn't been able to duplicate his career year of a year ago. But it's not been his fault entirely. The receiving corps simply has not been able to make the big plays. Jeremaine Copeland, who started out strongly this season, and Nik Lewis, who only had one touchdown catch all season, need to step up if the Stamps have any hope of making it to the Grey Cup to defend their championship. |

Give the Eskimos credit for winning on the road to lock up a playoff spot. You could argue the Lions' loss of its first two quarterbacks on the depth chart with injuries clearly helped the Eskimos in terms of allowing the defence to take chances it clearly couldn't do facing Casey Printers and his scrambling. But you could also make the case the Eskimos have developed a good ground game with Arkee Whitlock. If the Eskimos are able to pull off an upset in Calgary this Sunday, it will largely be because of Whitlock. |

How good would the Lions have been in their last game playing with an experienced quarterback? Well, how about the fact receivers Geroy Simon and Paris Jackson had a total of five catches for 42 yards. They were a different team with Casey Printers in the previous two games and there is a possibility Printers will play against the Cats, which would make for a hell of a storyline. |

Blew a golden opportunity to really make something of a crazy season. The issue is now on the coaching staff, the quarterbacking and the whole offensive direction. |

The team finished with an eight-game losing streak and really petered out in the final game of the season. Changes are coming, it's just a question of how many. |
