Argos banking on BMO?

The owners of the Toronto Argonauts may leave the Rogers Centre for BMO Field as early as next season according to a newspaper report.
The Globe and Mail reported Friday that Argo co-owners Howard Sokolowski and David Cynamon have their eyes on the home of Major League Soccer's Toronto FC.
BMO Field does not fit a regulation CFL field, but the article reported that the Argos owners are willing to consider playing on a field that may be adjusted in length either with a shorter field or smaller end zones.
Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment may not want the Argos as tenants, as TFC fans tend to be opposed to sharing the field with a CFL team. However, since the facility is publicly owned, MLSE may not have say.
